Crumbling Paper: Our Antediluvian Ancestors (1903) by Frederick Opper (strip #1)

Although he is best known today for Happy Hooligan (which we’ve been reprinting examples of recently) Frederick Opper was responsible for a number of popular strips in the early 20th century. Here’s an example of Frederick Opper’s strip Our Antediluvian Ancestors from December 27, 1903. Unfortunately, I only have the top half of the page for this one, so you’ll have to imagine what happens after the first three panels. Dig that 1903 Flintstones car!
