I don’t know if it is more astounding that someone would have ever put the above ad out there, or that a publisher would have accepted it.
“New live miniature dog” and “New real miniature monkey.” The “new” part puzzles me. Recently manufactured, perhaps? Guess for some reason they didn’t want to say “baby” or “young.”
And suggesting that both animals can talk by giving them word balloons that say “Please give me a home”. . . ? Wonderfully creepy.
