St. James Infirmary aka Gambler’s Blues by the Hokum Boys
The Betty Boop in Snow White cartoon I posted yesterday featured the famous version of St. James Infirmary by the wonderful Cab Calloway. Here is another excellent recording of that jazz standard (with the alternate title of Gambler’s Blues) by the obscure group “The Hokum Boys,” courtesy of the excellent site juneberry78s.com.
